Sayfolk is a task-agent workspace. This page explains, in plain language, what data we handle and why. The short version: your data exists to run your workspace, we don't sell it, and you can delete it whenever you want.
What we collect
Account details — your name, email address, and optional phone number. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google.
Your content — the tasks, deadlines, chat messages, and workspace settings you create in the app.
Usage basics — page-view analytics and product events such as a completed onboarding or successful save, through Vercel Analytics. Events do not include task text or email addresses; authentication pages and URL query strings are excluded. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Standard server logs and rate-limit counters help keep the service secure.
Browser drafts — demo tasks are stored on your browser for up to 30 days and are only saved to your account when you confirm. Unconfirmed account changes are also cached on that browser so you can retry a failed save. Signing out clears the account cache.
Waitlist email — if you join the beta waitlist, we store your email for the sole purpose of sending your invite.
How we use it
To run your workspace — storing tasks, syncing devices, and powering the agent.
To send the emails you asked for — verification, password resets, task reminders, and follow-ups. Reminder cadence is controlled by you in Settings.
To parse plain-English task requests, the text you type to the agent is processed by Anthropic's Claude API. It is used only to answer your request, not for advertising.
We do not sell your data, run third-party ads, or share your content with anyone except the service providers below.
Who processes it for us
Vercel — application hosting and anonymous analytics.
Neon — the Postgres database where your workspace lives.
Resend — sends our transactional email.
Anthropic — processes agent chat messages to parse tasks.
Google — only if you choose Google sign-in.
Deleting your data
You can deactivate your account any time in Settings. Deactivation locks the account immediately and records a deletion request with a 30-day recovery period. During private beta, permanent deletion is handled through support rather than an automatic purge. Contact support to confirm deletion of your tasks, workspaces, reminders, profile, and reviews, or to request recovery during that period.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: your sign-in session and, during the beta, an invite-code cookie. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
